Consolidated Billing

Combine all of your plan renewals into one payment per month, and move plans between accounts to bring billing together.

If you have several RTK Mobile plans, you normally see a separate charge for each one as it renews. Consolidated billing combines them: every plan renews on the same day of the month, and you make one payment that covers all of them.

How consolidated billing works

When you consolidate, you choose a billing day (for example, the 15th). From then on:

  • All of your monthly plans renew on that day.
  • Yearly plans renew once a year on that same day, in a renewal month you choose. Any data-usage charges for yearly plans bill monthly on your billing day.
  • New plans you purchase join your billing day automatically — the first payment at checkout covers the partial period up to your billing day, and the plan renews with everything else after that.

Your card statement shows one charge instead of many. On your account page, the payment appears in your invoice list as a consolidated payment with every covered invoice grouped underneath it, and you can view a printable statement or download it as a PDF — one document your bookkeeper can file instead of a stack of receipts. We also email you a receipt with the statement PDF attached after each consolidated payment completes.

How to turn it on

  1. Sign in and open your account page.
  2. In the Plans section, click Consolidate payments.
  3. Choose your billing day (and a renewal month for yearly plans). We suggest the day that costs the least to align to.
  4. Review the quote. Moving each plan's renewal forward to your billing day means paying for the extra days in between — the quote lists this prorated amount for every plan, and that's all you pay. Any data usage you've already accrued this cycle is included.
  5. Pick a saved card and confirm. The card is charged the quoted amount right away, and your renewal dates move.

If your data usage changes between seeing the quote and confirming, we'll show you the updated amount and ask you to confirm again — you're never charged more than the number you approved.

Your billing day is permanent. Once your plans are consolidated, the badge in the Plans section shows your billing day, and it can't be changed later — so pick a day that suits your bookkeeping. New plans and transferred-in plans adopt it automatically.

When you're charged

  • Card: once per month, early on your billing day, before your plans renew. The payment covers every plan renewing that day, minus any credit already on your account.
  • Bank account (ACH): about three days before your billing day, because bank debits take a few business days to clear. If a debit hasn't cleared in time, your plans simply bill individually that month, and the cleared amount becomes account credit that reduces your next consolidated payment — you never lose the money, and your service is never affected.

A couple of small-print details: if the amount due after credit is less than 50¢, we skip the combined charge and the small amounts bill individually. Any leftover credit on your account automatically reduces your next payment.

If a consolidated payment doesn't go through

Nothing happens to your service. Each plan simply bills individually to your payment method, exactly as it did before consolidation, and we email you so you can check your payment method. The next month's payment consolidates as usual.

Transferring plans between accounts

Plans can be moved between accounts — useful when one business wants all of its plans (and its consolidated bill) on a single account, or when a plan was purchased on the wrong account.

Transfers require admin access to both accounts: the account that currently holds the plans, and the account receiving them.

Step 1: Get invited to the other account

The owner of the account that holds the plans invites you:

  1. The owner signs in, opens their account page, and goes to the Team section.
  2. They click Invite a new team member, enter your email address, and choose the Admin role. (The Viewer role can see the account but can't transfer plans.)
  3. You accept the invitation from the email you receive.

Once accepted, you can switch between your account and theirs using the account menu at the top of the page.

Step 2: Transfer the plans

  1. Switch to the account that currently holds the plans.
  2. In the Plans section, tick the checkbox on each plan you want to move, then click Transfer to team.
  3. Choose the destination account and review the summary.
  4. Confirm the transfer.

What happens when you transfer

  • Nothing is charged or refunded at transfer time. Each plan keeps the time it has already paid for, and its next payment happens on the destination account's payment method.
  • Service is uninterrupted — SIM cards keep working through the transfer.
  • If the destination account has consolidated billing, transferred plans adopt its billing day. You'll see exactly what the alignment costs for each plan and can choose to pay it at each plan's next renewal (nothing today — the default) or pay it right away so payments combine starting immediately.
  • Pool plans can't be transferred, and a plan with an unpaid invoice needs the invoice settled first.
  • If some plans in a batch fail to move, the rest still transfer — you can retry the failed ones safely or contact support.

Questions?

If anything about a consolidated payment looks off — an amount you don't recognize, a statement you need re-sent, or a transfer that didn't finish — contact support and we'll sort it out.
