Carlson RT4+ tablet

Get started in 3 steps
  1. Install SIM

Power off the tablet and install the nano SIM in the slot in the battery bay.

  2. APN setup

Run RTK-Mobile-Setup.exe to configure the connection, or add an APN profile named RTK Mobile with APN name flolive.net manually.

  3. Activate SIM

If the program says the SIM is not activated, scan the QR code on your SIM card or enter your ICCID on the activation page.

This instruction is specifically for the Carlson RT4+ and RT5+ (not the RT4 or RT5)

Install SIM

  1. Turn off the RT4+ or RTK5+ by selecting "Shut down" from the power icon on the welcome screen or in the Windows menu.
  2. Remove the battery door by sliding the battery lock switch to the unlocked position and pulling on the edge that pops up.
  3. Remove the battery by pulling up on the black tab.
  4. If you are replacing a SIM card with a new one, it is best to take out the old SIM and start the RT4+ without a SIM card inside before turning it off and putting the new one in.
  5. Insert the SIM with the cut corner oriented in the same direction as the Nano SIM drawing in the battery bay you should hear or feel it click.
  6. Replace the battery and battery door.

APN Setup

Choose how you want to set up the APN below. Both work; you only need to complete one.

Activate SIM

RTK Mobile SIM card

RTK Mobile Setup checks whether your SIM is activated and sends you to the activation page if it is not. You can also check yourself: go to our activation page and enter your ICCID or scan the QR code of your SIM Card to make sure your SIM card has been activated. The ICCID is printed on the SIM card holder QR label and on the SIM itself. If it is not activated, buy a data plan to activate the SIM.

Next Steps

Now you can configure Carlson SurvPC or Carlson Layout to send RTK corrections to your GNSS receiver:
